Package from Jegs came today!

I gots me hood hinge springs so the stupid hood will stay open, I got the new wilwood master cylinder and assorted hard ware, and I got the new TCI roller bearing tailshaft.

I am not sure when I am going to start wrenching again, but at least the stuff is here.

Got the hinge springs installed and bought another vacuum system for the brakes. The car stops more better good now. Ok, I can't skid yet but getting closer.
I installed the tailshaft for the turbo 350 and guess what... there is still alot of play. This thing vibrates like a spin cycle now, and is getting worse... I figure there must be some bushings inside that are getting wasted. I pulled the trans stick and yucky browness reminded me that I should have gone with a turbo 400. Yep, the Hughes Turbo 350 Street/Strip trans is toast, or is at least on the way out.
Since the $800.00 converter will also work on a Turbo 400 I am going with one of TCIs' competetion transmissions. Car is already up in the air awaiting me and my checkbook.
So far I have pulled the exhaust out... I just had to fire it up with open headers.. it's the mutha effin Law!

We have decided to sell this car. It has been fun, but its time to move on to something a bit more streetable. Hopefully this Nova will sell before I have to install the new trans. :) I am asking 5500.00 obo with a broken trans. If I have to install a new trans I will be asking 7500.00 Either way hopefully by the Summer of 09 I can begin tooling on our LS-1 Camaros. I have to wrench on something... It's the law!
