July 19: Had to pull the intake again :( Was getting a tick in the engine so I put the stock lifters back in. Still have the tick but the engine sounds better and has better power. Check my vids to hear the tick and let me know what it is.

July 06: Motor pretty much done, just waiting on a new iac. Wheels are on and the car is on the ground for the first time in 6 months! Woohoo! Just need to get her in to a shop to get a pipe put on from the y-pipe to the catback.

Pic of the rear with the new exhaust:

June 25: Rear eibach springs and J&M adjustable panhard bar are installed

June 23: Motor is mostly done, belt is on. Custom plug wires are cut and installed. Everything is plumbed.

June 22: Front eibach springs are in. Doing some prom research to find out why I am getting so much fuel in the motor.

June 20: Intake is back on and so far so good, no leaks. Will have to wait till she is running to see if it will hold under pressure though. Eibach springs are here, will be putting them in in the next day or 2.

June 17: Got the stewart high flow water pump installed and the remote thermostat installed along with all the hoses. Had my first set back, actually surprised it took this long. The intake was leaking water out the front drivers water port. Had to pull it and will be bringing it to a machine shop to have some more material added.

June 10: Got the braided fuel lines and installed them. She is just about ready to fire up, just need to get some trans fuild and the rad back in her!

June 8: Polished the tail lights. They were pretty dull, look a little better now.

June 6: Got the tall bowtie valve covers on. Just waiting on the custom fuel lines to come in and I can fire her up. Also got the front springs out so as soon as the eibachs come in I can get them installed.

June 3: 255lph Fuel pump is in and the gas tank has been reinstalled. Waiting on the eiback pro's and some lcarb's and a double adjustable panhard bar then I can get the rear end buttoned up.

June 2: Ordered a stewart stage II high flow aluminum water pump.

May 30: Got the front accessory brackets painted and installed, along with the alternator. Waiting on a new water pump and debating about replacing my worn out a/c compressor or keeping the a/c off the car.

Pic with the painted brackets on:

May 29: Got the pushrods and istalled them. Set the valve lash. Got the intake bolted on and distributer installed. Also got the shifter hooked up to the trans. Rear end is torn apart, springs are out, panhard bar is out, crossmember is out. Painting everything that is not being replaced, which isn't much. Had to pull all that out anyways to get the gas tank out, still waiting for the new 255gph pump for that.

May 28: Ordered a set of braided fuel lines needed to hook up to the lt1 fuel rail. Still waiting on the pushords :( Also looking at getting an adjustable panhard bar.

May 23: Ordered a set of Eibach pro lowering springs. Still waiting on the pushrods.

May 20: Got the pushrods ordered. Headers & balancer are installed. Also did a little bit of the small pita but necessary stuff like lengthening wires, modified some bolt holes in the intake etc.

May 15: Some more progress. Got the heads on and measured the pushrod length. Going to get them ordered asap. Of course they are .100 shorter than stock, comps stock length rods are $40 bucks. .100 shorter are $180 bucks. Wtf is up with that?

May 1st: Finally started getting some parts back in. So far I have the cam in with the new timing chain and cover. Fixed a dent in the oil pan and got that back on. Got the new torque converter and trans bolted in as well as the B&M shifter. Heads are about ready to go on. Just ordered a 255lph fuel pump and stainless engine bolt set.

Here is a pic of the shifter, sorry for the mess :p

Here is a pic of the motor as it sits now.
