Sound System
The 1st radio I got was some what of a joke. It was better than the stock that didn't have a CD player but this one sucked all the way with AM/FM it was a dual 100watt- CD player.
(as shown below)

Now after that I was not really happy about dual so that Christmas I got pure cash and that about the best gift for me for getting stuff for the car. I started looking in to Sony and I did like them. I when up there a day out of the week for a few weeks with a few different people that gave me there thoughts while looking at the radios and try them out and stuff but every time I was there was this weird Dual that caught my eye.

So I kept going reading replies about the radios and when I when up to best buy to buy the Sony and I saw one of the dual one siting on the counter and ask the guy about it and he took 20% off for the box damage and there is a automatic 30 day warranty on it so I couldn’t leave this deal.

So I got it plus the Bluetooth plug in that rocks. It is by far the best deal and an excellent radio. Around here cops are not happy if you talk on your phone plus the highway driving I do it is nice for hands free. (Also you can see in the one picture my Custom Leather Shift Knob)

The Iplug is really good I have seen a lot of Aux connections and I really like the way that this one plug is not on the face of the head unit and can be move to any part of your car. I mounted it on my passenger side just below the lip of the top of the center console so that is was close but out of the way.

I did all the soldering of the wires and all (o that's why I took the electronics class in high school) and used shrink-wrap to make a professional finished look. Too bad no one well see it but it makes the sound quality excellent.

This car is about 17 years old and my heater coil busted. So I needed to replace it. So I tore the thing apart and when I did I decided to add some stuff and repair a few things. Not only was the heater coil 17 but the speakers in were stock and really needed to be replaced. So I put in Pioneer - 4" x 6" 3-Way Speakers and Pioneer - 6" x 9" 3-Way Speakers.

Picture of my fun time pulling out the dash

Dash
Well my dash in the last year has cracked in two places and the driver side edge had peeled off. So with little to do. I looked around for a new dash found that they when on ebay for around $200 and read about people buy them only for them to crack later on. I then looked into repareing mine and found some nice ways but you could still see that it was broken. So my parents saw me putting all this time and money into the pearl and bought me a cap for the dash. It looks pretty good was around $120 dollors and is better then getting a new dash that would break later. The cap looks the same execept that the speakers are holes and not lines but I don't think it will be that noticable and my dash under is cracked in the speaker area so it will hide that.

Here a few pic of me putting in the hatch release

Pic of it in, I was surprised that the pencil lines are still there after a week but glad cause I'll need them when I put in the window switches.

When I'm done, this is the basic idea of the layout.

Other plan are new carpit (black), 4thgen seat at somepoint, paint panels from gray to black, and a few other thing
