After my boost upgrade and my coilover suspension this little car became very potent. Future upgrades: bigger turbo, more boost, better cooling, better wheels and tires. Hope the transmission holds up!

A while back I bought the last stash of KONI, adjustable, rear struts in existence that are GTX friendly. With about .14" worth of shimming (info. provided with struts/easy, not to worry)between the lower clevis bracket they are a direct fit for the GTX (even the same perch ht.). These are quality struts and both rebuildable and revalvable. These are brand new, in the box, and I have been selling these for $180/pair + shipping...contact pkwgtx@yahoo.com if interested.
I NOW ALSO SELL SUITABLE KONI FRONTS
A FEW MINOR ISSUES TO DEAL WITH AND THEY WORK VERY WELL. problem and fix below:
1 rod end not long enough...drill out upper mount so its thickness is not taking up space on rod end-still works fine-now you have enough thread engagement for an all metal lock nut.

2 perch is too big-well kinda- hey, at least it is not too small-anything to center bottom of spring (actually i heard that the stock springs WILL center on this oversized perch).... or just do it right and run coil overs- i also sell that stuff-see below...

3 hole pattern is off by approx 0.10"......use dremel or saw blade or whatever to slightly elongate holes in bottom mount-cuts easy - goes fast.

4 brake line tab is in the wrong spot...i have a welder so i would cut it off and weld it to the bottom clevis mount bracket-that way, the welding heat is too far away from the shock internals to be a problem, but can be handled many other ways too

then, add the normal washers to the mounting clevis as you did in the rear

those are the issues. yes there are five of them but none are hard to fix- figure maybe about an extra 15 minutes per front strut....but....

a great, adjustable strut that is better than all but the super high dollar custom valved stuff. better than all those other fixes where folks put the poorly matched insert in, because it physially fits in the gtx housing-BTW which is more work and more money than getting these perfectly matched, full strut assemblies, working.for only $90 ea. there simply is not a better value in gtx struts. i am not saying that because i sell them. it is just fact.

This little guy is the piggy device I use to increase injector pulse width and provide my engine with the extra fuel for the increased boost levels that I run. It requires the cutting of only one wire. The rest is just plug-in. It is adjustable, everthing is included in the kit, and the install time is around ten minutes. There is no part throttle lean condition, like with a re-mapped ECU. This can also easily be removed if need be, to sell seperately from your car when that time comes. note: i tend to be more conservative than others with my claims but i will tell you this, i would put it against anything out there, from anybody, at any price point. simply the best solution, short of a fully programable ecu. Fully tested before shipping.
Cost:
stage1 (*approx. 14 psi)$95
stage2 (*approx. 16.5 psi)$195
+ shipping
* with stock turbo and stock injectors at stock fuel pressure

coil overs...a great match with the above adjustable struts.
adjust ride ht up or down from stock. any spring rate and length you want or go with my standard package that gets you great performance and ride for a street performance car and lets you run in a range from about one inch higher than stock to pretty much down on the bump stops.
kit includes: springs and ht adjusting hardware for all four corners...
$380usd

This is just a hobby for me. i now do paypal, but no credit cards. - that would cost me $- meaning if you have a paypal acount and it is NOT funded with a credit card, i can take that. (all prices are usd) and I want to be able to keep the prices cheap. cashiers checks and money orders typically get you shippment within a day. I may have taken two days once for medical reasons. personal checks are a bit of a pain since you have to wait for me to go to the bank and then wait until it clears.
NOTE: all items are examined &/or tested before shipment
and to the best of my knowledge are 100%. I am not out to take advantage of anyone, but have to be fair to all parties, these are low cost improvements that have worked VERY well for me and my GTX. Because of the budget nature, i am afaid there is no room for me to "eat" things here and there when/if a problem arises that has no clear place to lay blame. Because of these possible "on the fence situations" and my low prices, i must say up front that all sales are final. I am not out to take advantage of folks and fall back on this "policy", I intend to be totally fair. In theory, KONI should stand behind the struts, but i have not had it come up as of yet, so i do not know. I have purchased KONI struts (Audi app. from shox.com)before as a normal retail customer and was not offered any help by the retail seller, and was told to cantact Koni. You are welcome to do the same IF an issue arises.

sincerely

that rally stuff sounds like fun!!! let me know if you where able to try 20 psi on that setup. I'm running a similar setup on my 1.8 EGT and i tend to spike up to 23 psi. I might also be interested in that injector controller. do you build those ?
