Introduction

Last updated: 12/24/08

I purchased my 2003 Jeep Liberty Limited on Sep 7, 2007. I had a Ford Escort ZX2 that I traded in for it. I like the Jeep much better. Its black, and looks great when its clean and waxed. This is the nicest vehicle I have owned.

This is the day I got it, all stock: Saint_Anger's 2003 Jeep Liberty

Saint_Anger's 2003 Jeep LibertyThis is what it looks like currently. I have a Coleman roof basket with some Hella lights mounted to it. Notice the tinted parking lamps and taillights. I have a 4 ft CB antenna that I mounted behind the spare tire. It has a quick release so it pops right off if you need to open the glass. I may end up fabricating something to mount near the rear license plate to keep it out of the way. The Castrol sticker makes a great fingerprint guard when you close the window!

I also just painted the wheels black. Its actually just primer black. I think it looks great. And if they get scratched, its easy to touch them up. Here's a comparison: Saint_Anger's 2003 Jeep Liberty Saint_Anger's 2003 Jeep Liberty

I also got some Wild Country Radial XTX All terrain tires this winter. Big difference than the Goodyear car tires that were on it. These are great in the snow! Saint_Anger's 2003 Jeep Liberty

that drone you had with the flowmaster was the samething that I had with my magnaflow ..Try adding a tip to the tailpipe and routing it outside the underside of the jeep ... The sound kind of bounces under the jeep without it and you get that drowning sound... small tip exiting out the back = BIG differance sweet ride though like the hella's hope do those perform off road?

hey just seen this. how did you tint your taillights? Ive been wanting to do mine but couldn't figure out how. i did the turn signals with window tint but i don't think that would work well for the taillights. Ive heard a few guys that have done it with a candy black paint but was a little nervous to do that since they are about 85 bucks to replace (i had to replace one already).

you are right about my CB antenna not interfering with the door or the glass. it is on a swivel mount so it can be tilted from side to side as well. thank you for the comment on my KJ your is looking good also. what CB are you going with? i have a uniden and i really like it. it was under 100 bucks a local CB shop. i use it a lot on trail rides.
