This is the beginning of a long and expensive process which will hopefully end up in a beatiful part of American history.

Here is the original dealer invoice.
Production order for a Mark II for customer "Frank Sinatra" This came from the archives at the Benson Ford Research Center
This is an interesting letter from the V.P. of the dealership that sold the car to Mr. Sinatra to the head of marketing at Continental "Douglas McClure". Celebrity ownership was obviously very important to the car's success.
Images from the 1956 Frank Sinatra film "High Society" depicting a Black Continental Mark II with what appears to be Medium Gray and White interior.

Wow, I guess that documentation puts any doubts to rest. So what about Elvis' Mark II? Anyone found that? My Mark II was an introductory unit (the first 300 made) so the Benson Ford Museum only has records that show it was assigned to a now defunct dealership. Nice job.
