A few new pix following a photo shoot for a newspaper. :-)
Two new pix added from this year's classic car show. Clay barred, Paint Cleaned, Polished & Waxed especially for this event just two days before the show !

I've had this car since mid 2005. I've always thought I was extremely lucky to find the car in exactly the colour and specification I would've chosen had I been around to walk into a showroom in 1974!
The car is very original which is exactly how I like it.
The original owner kept the car for 25 years. It was actually his third DS! The car then went through the hands of three other Citroen enthusiasts before finding it's way to me. When I bought it, I hunted down and spoke with every previous owner.
The car has travelled a mere 250,000kms in it's 33 years.
This car is unique in that it has a fully automatic gearbox. This is not a common thing in a DS.
It's also a DS but not a Pallas which puts it somewhere between a D Special and the top of the line Pallas. Personally, I think it's the best of both worlds.
I've included pix of the interior as well as the exterior showing my Australian number plates. On the internet I think it's always interesting to see familiar cars with unfamiliar plates.
Speaking of plates, the letters are my initials.... but the numbers are significant and were chosen for a reason... Can you guess why?
These cars are totally absorbing. I can tinker with it all weekend and I'm a voracious reader of just about anything to do with them.
Here's another pic taken in my driveway. Drive the car up on ramps, set the suspension on high and VOILA! Plenty of room to work underneath!
Of the pix I've uploaded, the only one that doesn't feature my car is one I took in Paris in 2005. It's a pic from the 50th Anniversary DS Parade and it's my favourite pic. :-)
Here's a new pic from 2008 French Car Day here in Sydney.
And finally, here's a painting I just had done by another car enthusiast.
Cheers,
Michael
