DECK PLATE MODIFICATION
First I removed the EFI Fuse and the Air Box from it's stock location.
(notice the extremely greasy engine bay, I oil spray the entire truck annually, in order to fight rust!!)
Then I cleaned it up with some degreaser, and got ready to trace the circle for the deck plate.
I cut out the circle with a Jigsaw and Dremmel tool, and then vaccumed out all of the shavings. Once that was done, I applied sealer on the bottom side of the deck plate, and then secured it with Self Tapping Screws.
Finally, I re-installed the Airbox, and re-installed the EFI Fuse.
Then I replaced the old Air Filter with a New Fram Filter.
