killer14's 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

This is my first project car. A little info before i start, every piece of this car is either: painted, cromed, polished, or anidized.

To start, the chassis has been worked just as much as the car. Starting with a Calif. frame, it was body worked and painted to match the car. The suspention consists of a Heidts front and a Mark Williams drag rear on custom four bar linkage. The springs were replaced with Air Canovers for ajustable hight. The exhaust is custom stainless steel that has been cromed.

Picture coming soon
The motor is a custome ZZ4 crate motor that has been bored, ported, and polished. The block was ground smoothed and painted. The carb, is a 700 cfm BG that was custom done by a local engine shop. The air cleaner is custom with a K&N filter. All brakets were custom for Yogi's.

Pictures coming soon
The inner finder panels were custom made to accoidate the 18" rims and air suspention.

Pictures comming soon
The Hood brace was custom C&C milled, polished and then cromed.

All the outside body pannels were left stock. The were all gaped and body worked. The side molding was custom made from 1" stock brass and then cromed (this took almost 1 week itself). All front moldings were removed and holes filled. The Rims are B. Coddingtons 18" in front and 20" in rear.

What really makes this car stand out over the others is the interior. Every part is steel!

The seats are out of a '99 Monte Carlo and then custom apolstered. The center consloe was hand made in steel and then body worked and painted. The gages are AutoMeter that were dis-assembled, painted and the re-assembled. All switches are hidden and the stereo resides behind the center mask.

For those stereo guru's ... the face is Clarion, there are 4 6 1/2" components, two 10" Eclips subs ... all powered by a Rockford Fosgate.

The car has 2 Black Panther Batteries. All wiring is I/O with street wire connectors. The fuse block is Ron Fransis.
