These next pictures show how much I had to cut the hood to clesr the supercharger. I did not want to lower the sub-frame so I opted to cut the hood. Although the height of the blower pulley caused some issues, it was the a/c compressor that made finding a "workable" scoop difficult to find. I found this one for $45. I sectioned it & bonded it to the hood. Here it is all molded & painted. I have less than $60 in the whole cowl hood. side view

a supercharged v8 in a miata is just too crazy, cant imagine how it will drive

My project should be done in 3 weeks. Im going to enjoy it for the summer and then as a winter project im thinking WS6 with a 6 speed tranny. =^)
