Well I started working on this car about June of 2005... It all started because I had a few tiny dents I wanted repaired and then I wanted the whole car re-painted.

REMODELED THE ENTIRE CAR !!
THESE ARE THE LATEST PICTUERS...12-20-2008

Here is a bunch of pictures going from the day I brought the car in for the little dents up to today.

So while the car was in the body shop I decided I couldn't stay away from it so I ended up hanging around the guys shop all day and doing little things on my car. I started with adding some lights and that turned into a nightmare of wiring that ended in almost a complete new wire job on the whole car.

Now I have the body shop owner "eddie" telling me he can do some nice things to the car.. Like add a hood scoop.. So I say ok to that..

Jbaba123's 1997 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

But of course that turned into a whole body kit.. This kit below was for a Dodge Mini Van and we customized it to fit the SL.

This was a lot of work to make this fit the SL.

Then next came the Lambo Door Kit.
And.... Let me tell you... customizing a Mercedes is NO JOKE... we had to do some things 3 and 4 times... we had to make things fit that were not fitting... every little things you touch on this car causes problems for some other little thing.
But here is the picture..

Then we did Air Suspension.. So it sits on the floor.

The car was actually paiting 2 times... After the first "attempt" I had someone do Air Brush work on the car.
Here is the hood the first time.

This design was started on the sides of the car but not completed because we found out the guy painted the car with a different shade then he painted the plastic Kit sides, so while we were sanding and air brushing we realized the car needed to be re-painted.

This is the design that was supposed to be on the sides of the car. Once the car is completely done I am having a professional paint this on... Do you know anyone ??

Jbaba123's 1997 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Now here is basically what the car looks like right now.. Some of the things in the car are:

Air Suspesion, Lambo Doors, 2 tone Seats, Custom Head Rests, two tone Convertible Cover Lid, 2 tone doors panels (not installed yet), Curb sensors, HID lights, Custom Burlwood and leather Mercedes steering wheel, 1 touch rood module, power door pops(no handles), Under frame lighting, trunk lighting, 4 TV's, Poineer Stereo with TV, mirror TV, custom light box in rear seating, black-out rear lights, custom made center spinners on rims, embroidery on head rests, hood scoop.. and a bunch of other things I don't remember but they COST me a ton of money!!

Please keep in mind the car is NOT DONE yet... I expect to complete the car in about 4 more months. Other things being done:

Air Brush work (again) - (Need a Great Air Brush Guy)
New 20" - ZENETTI HEIR CHROME RIMS
New 20" - Rear(285/25/20) Front(245/30/20) Tires

And now here are the pictures as it stands now.

Cool looking ride bro. Really like the hood mods. Not too sure about the custom paint finish (but hey that's personal preference i guess). Great car nevertheless and modded to the MAX indeed. Tell me what you think of mine bro.
