So i sold the Corsica for $400 and our story continues here. I got a 1998 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. Its a huge ass pimpin grandma car. Its totally decked out minus a sunroof and tape player ( i got stuck with a cd player :( lol) Under the hood she's packin a Series II GM pushrod 3.8L supercharged v6 on a 4t-65HD trans. Only engine mods so far include complete overhaul of all fluids after purchase and a cone filter on a short ram intake. She hauls ass pretty well, throw in a curb weight just shy of 4k pounds and you have yourself a buick.

The interior has Concert III sound with 9 speakers and a stock amp, it sounds so nice i don't think i'll touch it for anything less than MB Quarts someday. (Except throwing a lil bump in the trunk of course ;)) All leather seats, front is a 60/40 bench with dual heated and power seats. The back seats are just too damn comfy too complete with tuck away cubby holes for the seatbelts. As far as the interior is concerned, i need floor mats, anyone who knows where to get a hold of some buick motorsports ones, please let me know.

The color as you can see, is GM Bright White, i have a white eyebrow on it, and its just screaming for some nice chrome rims, the factory aluminum 16's are alright but they just don't match the white and chrome exterior.

I plan to run 2 12" subs in a turbovent box back in the trunk where subs are usually found on my PowerAcoustik ov1-4000d with my battery and PA cap and a PA digital bass booster/equalizer. I have a hi level converter that i'm gonna attempt to use to retain some cash and the factory steering wheel controls. As far as subs i'd like to do 2 kicker solobaric L7s or 2 kicker compvx's, but i don't know for sure what yet.

I ordered everything, i have 2 12" 07 Kicker Solobaric L7's on the way, dual 4 ohm coils so i can wire them down to 1 ohm on my old Power Acoustic amp. I also have a Turbovent L-ported box on the way for them. It's time to get some bang in the trunk again, i'm going through withdrawal.

I've started my list for performance parts, the curret list is a reprogrammed INTENSE pcm, 3.6" MPS s/c pulley, 180o stat, 2 step colder plugs, and later a hi flo cat and hopefully some headers with 3" downpipe.

Subs are here, still breaking them in though so more on that later, i also got my pulley kit from ups, ended up doing a 3.5" mps and a new seal and new oil, hope to put that in soon.

Subs are done breaking in, jesus h. christ, it's hard to believe that its 2 12's in the trunk, they gigilate the insides of my eyeballs lol. I plan on having it metered sometime in the near future to give you a better idea of what it's actually hitting. I think it sounds louder than the corsica was but i dunno about actual SPL output, this setup isn't as SPL oriented as the corsica, as far as speaker placement and box size. Props to Kendall for getting my shit here and tuning it all and basically making up for any of my ineptitudes in general.

Yesterday i put in my 3.5" pulley and i redid my intake to a 4" I.D. intake into the fender intake area and put the pcm down underneath on some styrofoam. I also removed this deflector thing that was disrupting airflow between the headlight and the radiator to my filter. I pulled out all the old supercharger oil and replaced it with fresh stuff. This swap has made an incredible difference, and the 4" intake sounds a lot deeper and cooler than the 3" setup. The power it makes is incredible, my next objective is a ZZPerformance 3" bolt on downpipe with hi-flo cat.

Got and installed my new head unit for this car. Its a Clarion DXZ775USB. It's that slidetrak model, i really like it. It has umpteen thousand button/background colors and i got one to match the stock green gauge color perfectly. Navigation is so easy, and the layout is all pretty logical, i haven't cracked open the manual yet for anything. The install was kind of a bitch cuz of the massive clump of wires behind the head unit and the cramped space. I was surprised i actually picked up a ton of clarity and sound quality with just the head unit, i thought the factory premium sounded pretty good. It has 6-6 volt preouts...but i only needed one set... lol. As for the rest of the car a friend just got a DHP tuner for his truck so i'm going to see if we can get a file to tune my car, and i'm now saving for the downpipe with the head unit purchase out of the way. Once the weather starts to warm up i'll be switching over to a set of colder NGK plugs. As of now, these are all my current goals, after thats all done, we'll see, maybe i'll go a little more in-depth and get a bigger MAF sensor or somthing.
Just realized I have like no updated pictures on here. I want to get some new ones up of the mods in the engine bay, the deck, and I realized I don't have any pictures of my subs in my car on here. The only problem with this is gonna be the weather. Bear with me on if I can get pictures at all, if I can she may not be the cleanest because its gonna get pretty cold the rest of the week (-40*F) and thats not the greatest time to wash a car lol.

Well i added a 2"x4" brace to the back of the sub box. I also but my yellow top in the trunk and bought a red top for under the hood. The car holds voltage great now, and I haven't even upgraded the alternator to battery wire or the battery and engine grounds.

Yeah well, i spun a rod bearing in number one cylinder. Pretty gay. I have a long block on order it should be here soon, it's all totally remachined and bored .030 over. Once i get it running again i'll probably feel a little less depressed and fill in more on this, i took pictures of the tear down too so i'll have those up.

It's been awhile since I added to this, i now i have a brand new motor and unfortunatley a new trans as well.  I've also gone through 2 sets of L7's, one of my origionals gave out so i got another pair in a sweet ass box with a 3" slot port.  Pretty loud.  Well one of those gave out as well so i had those warrantied at Sound N Logic and i now have 2 JL Audio W6's in an aeroport box ( see audio page for pics).  My friend has a JL 1000/1 and we're gonna put them on that tomorrow and see how it sounds, i may buy that if i like it.  I still have one 12" Kicker Solobaric L7 for sale if anybody wants it PM me.

I like how you take pride in your buick. I have a park avenue and want to upgragde the engine to a supercharged. Let me know where you got your iinfo about specs and everything I dont know to rebuild my engine and add the supercharger or go with my first mind and but a ultra engine at the junk yard and rebuild it. For your dedication to your ride even though you dont have the custom rims and paint like some, and some over do it, you get a 5 from me any damn day. holla at me when you have a chance. Oh yeah at least 275hp is my goal so it can tote around the rims I want and sub box. One day I will be on here with my Buick Grand National.

Hi. Nice Buick! Gave you five stars. Glad you like the Buick Tri-Shield on Fire artwork that my daughter did. I like it too! ;) Keep up the excellent work! Stewart

How's it going? I found a simple intake setup on Ebay and snapped it up. The price was right and I think it will work well enough.
