Engine

The_Corsica's 1998 Buick Park Avenue

Bone stock, just the way I bough it, complete with fluid dribbles from checking it over before buying. (See the Interstate battery, came with the car and its back in as my stand-by until i can get an isolator for my optima, love Interstate batteries)

(Old pic) I squirted it all down with engine degreaser recently and got all the salt and nasty stuff off, put Armor-All on the engine shroud, you can see the difference from the picture above, you can also see the 4" I.D. intake and filter and a peek at the PCM.

3.8L Series II L67 bored to 3.9L, Celvite 77's through-out, 4" intake, 3.5" MPS, SSAC headers, cat delete

(OLD) This is my 3.5" Intense Racing pulley mounted on the Intense quick change Multiple Pulley System hub. Anyone who considers doing this should not attempt to do so without the proper puller, rented or bought, no buts about it. (You'll understand when you go to do it, yes it can be done, but I wouldn't risk it, rental is cheap)

(OLD) The 4" intake, it's a few pipe couplers from the hardware store followed from the FWI write-up on the 3800Pro.com forum (great forum) and a Spectre 11 1/2" filter with hi-flo inlet in the front. Its positioned in the outlet where the fender intake empties and I also pulled out an air dam that now allows air flow across the filter between the headlight and radiator.

(OLD) This is a photo with the shroud removed, you can really tell what the engine degreaser did in this shot.

I like how you take pride in your buick. I have a park avenue and want to upgragde the engine to a supercharged. Let me know where you got your iinfo about specs and everything I dont know to rebuild my engine and add the supercharger or go with my first mind and but a ultra engine at the junk yard and rebuild it. For your dedication to your ride even though you dont have the custom rims and paint like some, and some over do it, you get a 5 from me any damn day. holla at me when you have a chance. Oh yeah at least 275hp is my goal so it can tote around the rims I want and sub box. One day I will be on here with my Buick Grand National.

Hi. Nice Buick! Gave you five stars. Glad you like the Buick Tri-Shield on Fire artwork that my daughter did. I like it too! ;) Keep up the excellent work! Stewart

How's it going? I found a simple intake setup on Ebay and snapped it up. The price was right and I think it will work well enough.
