Interesting story on how I got this car. I was driving my mother in laws old base 92 Daytona, since I had sold my Jeep Wrangler to pay for my wedding. The Daytona sucked, a lot, but it had low miles and got me from point A to point B. Well at 75,000 miles the head gasket blew, and the repairs were going to be way more than the car was worth. My wife offered me 4500 bucks to look for a replacement car. She is in medical school, so all of my money goes to pay the bills etc; but she had some cash tucked away. After checking out what late model car my 4500 could get me, I determined that for ME, MY best option would be a PGT. I found one 140 miles away. A 97 with fairly low miles. After talking down the price, I drove the busted Daytona that distance, stopping every 20 miles or so to let it cool down. It took me 6 hours to drive the 140 miles!! I'll never forget that trip. But it was well worth it. I absolutely love my new car and will be very happy to drive it for years and years to come. Since I bought it in September I have added the following:
K&N Filter
Alpine CDM-7874 headunit
Sony XPlod Speakers to all 4 stock locations
RActive front and rear strut bars
A brand spankin new set of OEM floormats
I have a power antenna that should get installed soon, the car came with a standard one...
I have a 96 PGT spoiler coming and should be getting NGK wires and plugs soon as well.

Here are some pics

A simple side shot, the paint is in good shape for the most part. There are maybe 3 or 4 little hale dimples topside, there is a little roadsalt on the car in these pics.... :(

A pic of my rear strut bar installed, thanks to my buddy Wes for helping install it, he did a great job with the holes through the interior panels, you can barely see them.

An under the hood shot, shows my front strut bar and my ugly black stock air box. Maybe by summer I can get a nice shiny CAI in there...
