Basic Information
This is a semi-stock 351w 5.8 small block that is original to the car. It has a 4" stroke and breathes through a Motorcraft 2BBL carb that is a touch stronger than the original, because it has the 2 front jets out of a Holley 4BBL that was on the car when I bought it.

This car originally had P225/70/R15 Goodyears for the police but as I am a fan of Cooper I put the Police spec tires on for a street/strip/restored look that I think pulls it off quiet nicely, the original carb was removed in favor of a Holley 4BBL.

When I recieved the car the Holley's passing gear was sticking and in turn causing it to flood, so I bought a replacement off my neighbor's 1970's F-150 for $50 and it works perfect, now the only thing wrong with it is the acceleration pump screws are worn but getting replacements soon.

I took the oil cooler off as it freed up a couple horsepower and was used by the KSP because of it cooling the oil when the were parked and let the engine idle constantly.

The cage was removed when the car was auctioneered off, but the KSP left the flasher box on the fender well, which I am going to hook up for SHOW PURPOSES ONLY.

The rear ends are tuned for high speed only the car reaches 0-60mph in around 12 seconds give or take a second or two, 60+mph every 10mph takes only 1-2 second 4seconds at most so from 60-90mph takes somewhere around 3-4 secs.

I am not 100% positive but the gearing is somewhere around a 2.73 and is all housed into a 8.8 rear end housing, I would personally rather have a 9" high strength Ford performer for quicker starts.

The transmission is a AOD 4-5 speed automatic that has been COMPLETELY rebuilt and is not at all tired. The car shifts HARD when you baby it and when you completely hold the gas pedal down the fan kicks in on the egine, producing a bit louder than normal whine and at 40-50mph the car will PIN you to the seat for a second.

The whole experience is exhilirating as the whole car seem to lift up and when the gears fall into place it kond of sinks in and gains speed rapidly.

This is a 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that was sold in the KSP-Car Auction in Kentucky. My neighbor bought her and drove her around 70-90 miles EVERY day and then proceeded to sell her to my dad for $700-which we also got my fathers' 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Classic off the same man, for the same price(FATE?)

Dad bought her in 2004-05 and drove her as a family sedan until we hit a Rottweiler dog at around 65mph and blew the airbags(In KY, if the airbags blow out in a collision the vehicle is automatically "Totaled")
She sat untouched for 2 years until I sold my 1989 Chevrolet S-10 and replaced the parts that were needed to get a rebuilt title and then I FINALLY got my drivers' license and started a job to pay for my OWN insurance($135) and my OWN gas($50-75 per week) and now here I am.

I love the car. But why did you put on a 2bbl carb when it had a Holley 4bbl when you bought it? Was the Holley too much for the stock engine?

Alright man, as long as the speedometer is out of an '89 or older I can use it, lol. Gadget informed me that the '90-'91 speedometers won't work in my '85, they have different plug ins... So if it's the right year, I'll take it!

That would be kickass... I've got one, but the dial bounces really bad through all speeds. Is the one you have tested, and what year did it come out of?? Oh, I guess the cost would be an important thing too lol.

these leds are brighter than anything ive seen....in the evening my advice is not to look directly into them.....they spot at a diameter of about 3 feet...theyre angled so the pattern overlaps .....beats the hell out of neon...shop at a LED company and not a company that sells leds products....they put the least inexpensive Leds in there product cause its cost effective....thats why it seems neon is a brighter glow....though i put several different types of LEDs in my truck, i havent seen a neon setup that goes directly into factory positions and shine with such intensity....but i will check the dash light....that might look hot....OH and i love Tonkas
