Video of the beast firing up. I didn't rev it too high because the engine's fresh and the lightweight flywheel winds it up a lot quicker than I'm used to. It's going to be a real bear when it's finally on the road, that's for sure. I'll have more pics up soon.
AMC 401. bored 30 over, 9.7:1 compression KB pistons, mild Engle racing cam, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with a 750 Demon carb, 3 angle vavle job and port matching on the stock heads, and custom headers going into new 3" dual Flowmaster exhaust.

Rotating assembly ready to go. Those are Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons, should give good quench with 9.75 compression.
