Welcome to my page, this page is devoted to my 93 Mazda MX-5 Miata. I have changed the format on this page in order for easier browsing. I have a table of content on the bottom to help people surf faster.

Here is a little background on my 93 MX-5 Miata. It is a classic red 93 C package. I purchased it from the second owner in Burlington, MA on May, 02. The car had 85K miles when I bought it. It currently has 150K miles on it.

As much as I love my Miata, I feel that there are a few things that the car can improve on. I want to turn my Miata into a car that is quick but yet still driveable. I don't need a car that runs 12s or corner like an IMSA car. What I do want is a car that can run with the big boys sports cars. Ultimately, I want my car to perform as good as a stock 911, Boxster S, or a 3rd gen RX-7. To do that, I think my Miata needs to do the following.

1. Be able to finish the quarter mile in less than 14.0 sec. Also to reach that, the car has to remain emission legal, relatively quiet and no abnormal vibration.

2. Be able to do 60-0 in less than 115ft. This will be hard to measure since I don't have the equipment to do this test. I will have to depend on the G-tech.

3. Handling has to be on par with cars like the 3rd gen RX-7, Porsche. I want to be able to do this without having a killer ride.

4. The car also has to have a real complete interior. I basically left my interior stock with the exception of adding a few gauges and adding a keyless entry system.

When all are set and done, I would love to take my car to the track and autox to compare to cars that I mentioned. Feel free to give me comment or donation :)

One of my goal for this year is to be able to hit 13s or dyno more than 200rwhp. I will find out in November. (Donations are always welcome, my paypal address is tmak26b@yahoo.com)

Hey Tom... have you seen the garage Vary Lip? (In referance to your talk about what to do with the front end.) Very nice. You should check out my site. Keep up the good work.

Awsome miata, if I were you, I'd keep the exterior looking as clean as it does now; steer clear of spoilers etc, and just upgrade smaller things on the outside; turn signal intakes etc, and upgrade the engine, transmittion etc. But obviously its your call, check out my 1999 some time
