BlueBroncoII's 1988 Ford Bronco II

i originally bought this for 500 dollars as my winter vehicle in 2002 (to see my summer vehicle go to http://www.cardomain.com/id/3ho2ranger1 )
when i bought it it had been sitting for 5 years, so i changed all of the fluids to synthetic, flush and filled the rad, put new brakes rotors and lines in, recarpeted the interior, added a pioneer head unit and some pioneer 6X9"s to the stock speakers, did a 3" body lift, did a body job on what was a very rusty body, applied 6 coats of tremclad dark blue paint, installed new u joints, cleaned up and painted my rims and got a set of 31X10.5R15 tires.
After first mods

Since then i have done alot more work to my bronco. I finished the work in oct 2003.
After second round of work(the real work)

NEW EXTERIOR/INTERIOR
after 6 months of work taking the body off the frame and dissassembling everything, my bronco now has 35" BFG All-Terrain T/A's on american racing AR767 rims. 4"suspension lift with new leafs, no more body lift, poly eurethene body mounts and suspension bushings. Custom home fabricated Full Roll cage, dash and Custom bumpers, small warn winch, Painted inside and out with bedliner, rebuilt and strengthened body including floor. Also, we made the bronco into a convertible hard top and soft top is comming in the spring. The convertible top was almost as much work as rebuilding the entire truck, but it worked out great. The interior is completely different, the original was gutted and new inner fenders were made, along with all new panels.
-ENGINE-
The engine is the stock 2.9, but i had it bored 30 over, as well as had the black machined to accept lightened and machined 2.8L flat top pistons for higher compression and less rotating mass. I then installed them in the block with all new bearings etc. the engine also has a new cam and lifters, and world product heads, ported and polished by camcraft racing. Furthermore, i gasket matched the upper and lower intakes and installed a larger throttle body. I alse removed the A/C and installed pacesetter headers. Basically the only parts left from the original bronco that havent been modified are the side windows.
