Welcome! This is my mostly original '65 Mustang hardtop coupe. It has a straight six 200 c.i. engine (T code) with a C4 trans. The car has 73,000 original miles! This was my dad's first car that he bought in about '70. The seats and carpet have been redone and it's been repainted (rangoon red). Other than that its pretty much original. I have put the car in a couple car shows but haven't placed.

UPDATE!!! I finally got finished cleaning and painting almost everything under the hood and added the pics. I also snapped some pics of the interior and trunk.

I was lucky enough to find paint that was a very close match and painted the under side of the hood.

I wanted to do something about the dim taillights on the Mustang without spending alot of money, so I cut tin foil and shaped it to fit in the light housing. The foil acts as a reflector and puts out much more light. The result is 100% better than before and it costs nothing. The pic below is an after shot..the park lights now appear as bright as the brake lights did before.

I removed the steering wheel cover and found a badly cracked and yellowed wheel. I filled the cracks and sanded it smooth..primed and painted it gloss white.

Yes I intend to attend the show in Brandon. By the way I used to own a 68 Mustang with a 200 straight 6 and I can tell you those are strong motors and will out last almost anything. Great paint!
