next I routed my wires in the the center console.

I got power and ground from the cig. lighter.

useing female blade connectors, connect the power wires from the cig. lighter, solenoid, and the Harlen switchall to the same terminal. Next connect the ground from the Harlen switch and the cig lighter together useing one connector. Then put connectors on the white signal wire from the Harlen and the ground to the
solenoid seperately.

connect the 3 power wires to the 85 post on the relay, connect the grounds from the harlen and the cig lighter to pole 30 on the relay, connect the white signal wire to the 86 pole on the relay and finaly connect the ground from the solenoid to the 87 terminal on the relay.

all connections made.

everything cleaned up.

Connect the green wire from the Harlen to the white and green wire in the ECU harness.

afterwards you should retain a factory look.

Plenty of slack is left to adjust the Harlen switch.

tucked in it's new home the Harlen switch can bearly be seen.

I decided to add an LED to signal when the VI is engaged. This is the location I picked.

panel back in place. I regret I could not find a more attractive LED. I want a blue LED that I can flush mount.

connect the LED to the wires going to the solenoid. and you are done.
NOTE: takeing the extra time to make your install look factory is well worth it. Not only will it look better, but it is also more reliable.
Besides I hate seeing a car full of nappy azz wiring.
