This was my 84' Mustang SVO color code 2a. Had a rebuilt 2.3L Turbo with approx. 250Hp. I bought in for my graduation present to myself in July of 97' and kept until 2005. I babied this car for all those years. Unfortunately, a few weeks after getting the motor back together after the rebuild a Honda Civic Locked up his brakes on Hwy 78 in front of me and in turn I did as well and he released and kept going cause he ABS, I released and slid all over the highway and side swiped a under cover detective in a Grand Prix. It broke my heart. I kept this car in the same exact condition I bought it in for SO many years until then. After that I parked it in the garage for two more years only driving it around the block every now and then when I was missing it and finally figured I better sell it and let someone else restore it. I sold it to a guy in Michigan and shipped it up to him. i still email him every once and a while to see how it is. He had the dent fixed and it repainted and now it sits in his garage. Little History: in 1985 this car was in the One Lap of America race also known as the Cannonball Race. it is a cross country race for all to enter and mostly Dr., lawyers and such enter it because it is expensive to run it. You are to drive the same car across country and you are timed just like the movie. Here is the site One Lap of America
Well here she is with no further waiting

That guy in michigan didn't end up dropping a 351w in it did he. I live in michigan and just bought my svo from a guy in maccomb and it looks almost exactly the same.
