This is my new car a beretta GTZ Quad4.
For those who wonder what is a quad 4 well it's a 4 cylinder that Oldsmobile created with the help of feuling engeneering.
Race bred engine,it's a 2.3 Dual overhead cam and 16 valves. In stock form they created a whooping 150 hp,In High output form they created 180hp and in W41 form they had 190hp.the Q4 high output had a really high 7000rpm redline (7400 in W41).When the Q4 was out it was one of the most powerfull 4cylinder of it's decade (even by now the High output is still one of the strongest engine around, with the exception of Honda engine that have V-tec thecnologie, Imagine how much power would a Q4 had with V-tec on it, Nissan in there SER spec V have 175hp but on a 2.5 and it produces around the same amount of torque as a Q4) But with all this power comes great responsability...or should I say problems. Q4 tend to eat headgasket this is true it's a flaw in the desing but at that time GM wasen't the only one to have trouble with expansion rate of metals (cast Iron block and aluminum head) but with that problem aside the Q4 is a engine with ALOT of potential...Engine aside this is my car. Other pictures will soon come!!
