skism's 1995 Subaru SVX

This is my 1995 Subaru SVX

skism's 1995 Subaru SVX Since the time the SVX was first showing up at dealers in 1991, I have always dreamed of owning one. About two years ago that dream finally came true. I bought a 1995 SVX from a Subaru Dealer in eastern PA. SVX's are very difficult to find, and I bought the first one that I was able to find for sale within reasonable distance from me. Upon purchacing my SVX, I had to but a lot of money into mechanical repairs, but the price of this is worth it for such an AMAZING car!

skism's 1995 Subaru SVX I have done a few modifications to this SVX, most of which enhance its exterior styling. The SVX was designed in Italy by the award-winning design firm "ItalDesign." ItalDesign specializes in designing exotic Italian sports cars like Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa-Romeo. This exotic look was carried into the SVX with its low, flat stance, and 'half windows.' In this picture you can see my Enkei Shogun wheels, RaceConcepts brakes, and the small wheel gap thanks to my K&B Lowering Springs.

skism's 1995 Subaru SVX Here is the heart of the SVX. It's 4 cam 3.3 Litre "Boxer" 6 cylinder engine has been said to be one of the best 6 cylinder engines ever designed. With its forged internals, and all aluminum-alloy design, this engine is lightweight and nearly bulletproof. With this engine, and its highly-geard electronically controlled 4 speed automatic transmission, the SVX can reach speeds well over the 160mph indicated by its speedometer.

skism's 1995 Subaru SVX This is a recent picture of me doing some drifting in winter weather. The SVX is the TRUE Beauty of All Wheel Drive.

skism's 1995 Subaru SVX Here is a picture from the Gathering thrown by Subaru of America to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the SVX's introduction. We all went for a highway drive together at one point, and it was quite a scene. People in other cars were staring and waving at us. We even saw some kids in the back seat of a car counting how many cars we had! (They would have counted over 80!)

If you have any questions about the SVX, I invite anyone to send me an IM at "Alcyone SVX" Also, take a second to visit the SVX enthusiasts website at www.subarusvx.org
