Now what you all been waiting for:

notice the three batteries.
I was quite surprised to discover a LA-360 instead of a LA-318 engine - which is what the truck should have. The Guy I bought it off told me it was a 360 - but i didnt believe him until i did some reasearch. It turns out that the engine was made in 1971 - the very first of that engine - and apparently that engine year was practically the best year for the engine becuase in the years right after 71, HP went from 255 to like 175.

The truck has power steering and id say it handles pretty decent for such an old, HUGE truck. I hear that power-steering is really hard to fine on sweptline dodge trucks like this and that im lucky to have it. It explains all of this here: Sweptline Dodge The truck also came stock with a hydraulic clutch.

That is one great truck. 5* I can see why you would want to bring her back to itts original condition. It is crazy, & the story is cool. Take a look at my 69 Monaco convertible when you get a chance. Please leave a comment & a rating is appreciated. Laurence
