This is my 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I like the simplicity and cleanness of the install (speakers in stock locations, no visible wires, amplifiers, etc). I think the stereo system is great considering it was actually purchased with legitamate money.
Please leave a comment to give me your opinion of my 4Runner or stereo.
UPDATED 4/1/05:
I fabricated a custom oval-shaped fog light bar out of steel using a plasma cutter and MIG welder last summer, but it took me forever to get the pictures up. It is very similar to the one made by JAOS, but I got the satisfaction of making it myself (and it didn't cost $350). I mounted PIAA 525 foglights on it, which is the model that takes H4 headlight bulbs, so they have both high and low beam settings - very bright). This is just the prototype, and I am going to make another one which I will chrome plate. Tell me what you think.

Older Pictures (Without PIAA Lights)

Here is the subwoofer box. I designed and built the entire box, and it houses four 12 inch Alpine Type-R SVC subwoofers. They are driven by an MTX 225HO, which is mounted on the box's underside. To fully appreciate the box, go to the second page of this site to see details of its construction.

The stock radio and amplifier were removed and replaced by a 6.4" Clarion LCD unit, and a Kenwood 13-band full DIN equalizer. A 6 disc CD changer and an Emerson DVD/MP3/VCD unit are mounted under the driver's seat (more pictures to come). The DVD player can be controlled from the driver's seat using an infared remote pickup mounted on the dash in a discreet location.
The Kenwood amplifier that runs the midranges and tweeters is installed in the storage compartment in the trunk, and cannot normally be seen. This stereo installation is nice because you can't see a single inch of wiring. Both amplifiers, the crossovers, distribution/ground blocks, capacitor, and Audiocontrol Epicenter are all hidden.

The stock speakers in the front door were replaced by products from Kenwood. A set of Kenwood Dualmags 6.5" two-way components in the front doors. They are run by a Kenwood PS200t amplifier (see the picture below). Similar 6.5" coaxial speakers are in the rear doors, and are also run by the PS300T amplifier. Obviously, this picture was taken before I put the door panels back on.
