projectcivicman's 1978 Ford Mustang II

This 1978 Mustang II Mach 1 fastback was my dad's first car. This is how the car (and I) looked in 1986. This is the first car I ever worked on, so it is special to me. That's why I'm so excited to be a big part of its restoration. This page will
give you a quick snapshot of what the car looked like when we started and what it looks like now. Page 2 is my account of the entire restoration complete with lots of pictures and description of the process.

the joys of rust repair. what a pain. i lived i mass. back when your first photos were taken. used to help my dad restore 60`s mustangs. i guess being out in the desert i have gotten spoiled. glad to see that you guys saved her but i can`t say i miss replacing all of those panels.
