Car Washing, it's my Valium.

Before and after images of my car a couple of weeks ago. It had rained a lot for Phoenix and I decided it was time to shine her up.
I use the
Mr. Clean AutoDry to wash my car. I like the fact that I don't need a bucket and it also has filtered water for spot free shine.
After that I blow dry with my leaf blower to get water out of all the little corners, side mirrors, head lights, tail lights, etc. You can find leaf blowers as cheap as 28 bucks these days. Use electric and not gas of course. But don't use a blower if you don't plan on polishing and waxing your car after, the leaf blower leaves lots of streaks. The good thing is that you wont have to worry about streaks after you are done shining it up because you already dried everything off!

Very rarely will I polish AND use a wax but I did this time.
I used
Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Polish followed by NanoWax. Nanowax is a caranuba wax. Caranuba is water soluble and will need to be reapplied if you wash your car. It's a pain in the rear but I love the results. I tell myself I wont use it again and I always do!

After that I do the tires and inside the wheel wells and whalla.
