I working on getting pics of my car on here. It's 2 door hardtop XL sportsroof witha V-8 302 with a 2 Barrel Carburetor, but i plan on putting a 4 Barrel on it. If i ever get enough money I'm planing on putting NOS on it.
aaron_mcpipe's 1969 Ford Galaxie This is what my car is going to look like, but it will have more than factory parts. I really don't like old cars that are factory unless they are rare.

Take a hard look at my pix. I had a car just like that one on the trailer. You can do it! You say you only like factory cars unless they are rare. If you have a 429 4V or a XL GT you have a rare car. My car was just a car until I bought the build sheet from Marty's Autoworks in Az and found out that my car is one of 641 built as a custom order. Good luck and keep plugging away!

Hey, I am emailing all the 69 Galaxie owners a question. I am doing a frame off restoration on mine. The body is off the frame and I need to know a measurement. I am replacing the entire trunk pan out of mine and need to know the measurement between the ground and the bottom of the trunk pan at the front (closest to the engine) right behind the rear differential. The reason I ask, is because I am replacing the trunk pan with one out of a 89 crown victoria, witch is very similar but a couple of inches deeper at that point. I want to know if I can go deeper and still have enough ground clearance. The differential is approximately 7 inches off the ground and the trailing arms under the rear springs are about 6 inches. If you can get me the measurement I'd greatly appreciate it. Please email me @ littledmac@gmail.com or post a comment to my page. Nice ride, Like to se some more pics of the work you are doing or will be doing. Thanks, Damon

NOS can work, do some research first. If you decide to go with it, buy an entire kit and talk to a real salesperson with knowledge, otherwise you may just blow up the engine. I have a 69 Galaxie 500 LTD check it out. Mine is normally aspirated.
