It's a new year so I am starting fresh. I'll update sometime this weekend. So come back in a few days. 1.14.06

Thanks to the vision and hard work of John Z. DeLorean, 8,583 DeLoreans rolled off the assembly line in Ireland. 20 years later Eric and I took ownership of a beautiful 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 with only 20K miles on her. We are Living the Dream and we could not be any happier!

March 12, 2000 First day home. She had droopy doors and the first thing we did was replace the struts so she could stretch her wings. I still think the DeLorean has a unique character with the doors at that level and I am grateful we have picures of that stance.

The first subs we used were ADS and these are the second, Rockfords. At the time Eric was working at a car audio shop and we were able to experiment to see what sounded the best. We have stuck with the Alpines.

We had a chance to do this so why not? I don't think any other DeLorean owner has done it and I think it made for a cool photo. The dump truck could have been lowered more but that was too scary.
A rare picture of me. The photographer is rarely photographed.
Eric and I at the first club event we took our car too. We have tech sessions at a very nice venue and a lot of neat stuff happens there.

This is our lowered DeLorean next to the only lifted DeLorean in Memphis 2002. Out of the 8,583 made, this is the only 4x4 DeLorean, the D-Rex. Our friend and fellow club member, Rich, is responsible for the D-Rex and many other unique DeLorean projects...the only Convertible, Hover Conversion, Grand National Powered, Limo and more in the works. Make sure to check out DeLoreanMotorCars.com and please keep in mind that no good DeLoreans were harmed in the making of these projects. In fact, many were resurrected and saved!
Eric and I in Cleveland for the 2000 DeLorean car show. There were 101 DeLoreans in attendance and it was quite a spectacular site. Best of all was meeting our Idol John Z. DeLorean and his daughter Kathryn.
Eric was able to catch John Z. DeLorean's attention and walk with him to our car. After he saw the multimedia system with the motorized monitor he asked if he could endorse it. Eric stuttered....yes! It was an amazing moment that seemed to happen in slow motion. What an incredible experience! Eric and I were amazed because we had just gotten our car 3 months earlier and then we were meeting the creator of our car.
