This is my 99 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4. Its a beach cruiser / mudder thats got a 318 v8 with an auto tranny, its got 4.56 gears in the front Dana 35 and the rear Mopar 8.25 with trac-lok posi. I've got a S&B cold air intake, Dodge Viper 1.7 ratio rocker arms, Superchips tuner, a Cherry Bomb Extreme muffler and gutted cat.

I love to take my truck to the beach, with a 318 under the hood and 33x12.50 General Grabber AT2 all terrain tires, its nearly impossible to get stuck in 2wd, let alone 4wd. All of the pictures above this were taken in North Carolina's Outer Banks. A group of friends and I decided to take a vacation, so we all packed up the camping gear and loaded up the trucks. It was March of 07 and was a blast, anybody from that area can tell you just how busy it can get there in the summer, but because we went in the off season we avoided all of that and had virtually the whole beach to ourselves. Below are a couple of pics I took from the same beach on Memorial Day of this year, see the difference!

Trucks lined up from one end of the beach to the other for the 6 mi length of the beach. If you weren't where you wanted to be parked at by 11:00 or so you weren't going to be parking untill around 3:00 when people start to leave to get dinner.

My newest addition. Its a 79 Ford Bronco thats getting a 545 stroker big block Ford backed by a c6 auto trans with a TCI 2400 rpm stall converter, full manual valve body, a twin stick NP205 transfer case, 4in Skyjacker suspension lift, and soon to be 38x15.50/15 Ground Hawg Radials.

yeah your right, sorry about that. I think i still need a suspention lift, im thinking 4" in the front and 2" in the back. I would feel alot better with more clearance in the front. love the truck, keep up the good work. oh, and offset rims could help abit on a dodge, if i didnt have offset rims I wouldnt be able to turn worth shit. lol ttyl

Nice looking Dodge, there is so much that can be done to those. What's next on the wish list for it? I have a Dodge too, it has a few custom mods. I could never go off roadin in mine, it just would not do very well.

Thanks for the comment, been checking out lifts, used to deal mainly in ford, i converted after i drove the dodge that i own now. 318 all the way of course, but as far as lifts go, anybody tell me a good affordable (not cheap) lift would be. Suspension or body.
