My Girlfriend and I purchased this beautiful 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS to replace our aging Intrepid. We picked it up from the showroom April 26th, 2007. The car only had 43 miles on it when we picked it up. It has the 2.4L Ecotec engine conencted to an automatic transaxle (which comes optional with the N/A SS Sedans). We decided to call it KITT as a joke, since I found the built-in message center as a way for the car to communicate with us, and a Knight Rider techno remix being played, the name stuck. As I said, it's an 06 Cobalt SS. Features include:
Leather Interior, 7-speaker pioneer sound system, steering wheel audio controls, power moonroof, white-faced gauges, leather-wrapped steering wheel, center armrest/console (yes, retarded, but, that's actually an add on feature), fog lamps, 17 inch Chrome rims with low profile Pirelli P6 tires (which handle like a wet-dream), sport suspension, power everything, RKE and a spoiler (the subtle one, not that retarded ricer wing... ready for take-off?)......
The car is stock aside from a K+N drop-in filter and removing the air baffle from the fender that's ahead of the airbox. Mods will eventually come but, I'm quite happy with the car the way it is, no need to throw money at it, it's an awesome car as it is.
