The Audio Makeover
So when you're on fall break, and the girlfriend's not around you have to find a way to keep busy, installing an amp and rewiring the entire system sounded pretty good. So after I was done stringing wire under all the trim pieces and carpet here's what I had.
Durabrand DB1215 Headunit with Auxiliary Input
2 Roadmaster speaker enclosures with a 6 1/2" speaker
Roadmaster speaker enclosure with 2 6 1/2" speakers
2 Custom Scosche enclosures with Roadmaster 6"x9"
Scosche output converter
Scosche wiring
The plug in for the mp3 player is ran behind the dash and comes out in the ash tray. With the ash tray close only about 4 inches of it are visible.
This is what it looks like at night with the headunit and mp3 player glowing.
This guy sits on the hump in between the front and back seat, the shape of it fit surprisingly well.
This is how it looks on each side in the back. The 6"x9"s are hooked up to the amp.
This is how the amp rides with the back seat up.
This is what the amp looks like with the back seat down, notice where the wiring disappears, that pretty much the last you see of it.
