Check out my 1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue, silver with red pinstripes and silver top. This car was garaged for 20 years, driven by a teenage girl for 2 (she somehow managed to nick and ding it a little in those 24 short months) and now for $600 it's mine. The 2-barrel carburetor makes it a little easier on gas, and I find that following the book's advice of putting premium fuel in makes for better gas mileage. Still, this thing goes pretty fast for an old luxury liner. The 318 small-block V8 really has a lot of life left in it.
I had to clean the vinyl Landau top with special fluid. A solid hour of h ard scrubbing. A real pain, but the original color is back, so I guess it was worth it.
The red pinstripes are a nice touch.
