Finally got my spare tire mounted.

My Old tires and wheels:

These are 33x12.50s Cooper Discovery STTs mounted on Pro Comp's black powder-coated steel wheels. I have never seen this style of steel wheels before nor have I heard of Pro Comp ever making steel wheels. These are 15x8s with a 4 inch backspacing. I bought the tires from a guy for a total of $100 and the wheels for 135 on Ebay from a lady. As you can see the picture shows that only two are on the truck. I have crank the torsion bars up front a little and trim the fenders to prevent serious rubbing during compressing and full steering lock.

I have a 3 inch body lift that I bought from www.4x4parts.com installed to help clear these tires. Also I have removed the mud flaps as well. The rear tires only rub at full compression because my coil springs are old and sagging a bit. The tires itself gave me about 2.5 inches of lift (I have 225/75/15s which is about 28" in diameter.) There is a very noticable loss of power and gas mileage but you already know that =)

Well, today I had extra time on my hands and mounted the front 33s onto the pathfinder!

I need more lift! A steering stabilizer is a must if you have BIG tires!
