I was changing out my timing belt since I was long due for it and planned on installing my body lift at the same time. What was suppose to take a day or two to do took about a week.

Where all the madness begins

Check out the corrosion on my thermostat housing! I was going to order a new one but that would delay me more since I needed the Pathy running ASAP!

Check out the corrosion on my radiator!>

I couldn't get the crank sprocket and cam pulley bolts out until I borrowed an air compressor from a friend. That delayed me about 2 days.

Everything is almost put back together. Awaiting for the correct timing belt since the auto store gave me the wrong belt. Another day delayed.

I couldn't find the alignment mark to align the crank sprocket to. What I did was counted 43 teeth from the left(driver side alignment mark on cam pulley) cam pulley to the alignment mark on the crank sprocket.

To install the radiator drop-down kit, I had to cut out the old radiator support. I borrowed a pneumatic reciprocating saw from a friend and started sawing away. I was almost done and I lost control of the saw and it took out my ac condenser. That was a a big loss. My AC isn't as cold now so that is one of my "To-Fixes". I ordered a new one along with a new radiator. That delayed me something like 2 days.

The bumper brackets for the body lift are pretty flemsy. I had to trim off some of the brackets to where I could line the top brackest straight up and flush against the chassis bumper mount. The lower bumper bracket is slightly leaning forward because the steering box is in the way. No problem though. Wish I had the newer brackets for the hardbodies(right picture).

Here is a picture from another Pathfinder. The frame has extra holes (thank you Nissan) so you can use to lift the rear bumper. You will need to get new bolts, washers, and nuts.

After I installed the body lift, the steel lines were pulled off the plastic clips and breaking them. One of the lines was rubbing against the AC line. What I did to fix this was carefully stretched each steel line out. The biggest of the line is the vacuum line for the carbon canister and gas. I extended the rubber hose for this since you can't stretch the steel line for this.

Here are pictures of the drop down brackets I made for my Parking brakes. They drop the cables down 3".

ALMOST DONE!
