My dad called be in 1985 and told me he had a car for me. I was 14, and all i had to hear ws "its a convertable". I had no idea what an Impala was, but I am glad I found out. This is what it looked like when we got it.
Going to college, an overseas tour with the military and a few deployments has kept me from doing what i want to it, (along with amature skills) -- but I have replaced the gas tank, added front disc brakes from SSBC, Cragar SSs and Goodyear Eagle GTs, Edelbrock 600 Carb and intake maniflod

and a new top boot. I also had great success with precut wiring harnesses from Classic Industries for my signal and tail lights and in the engine bay. I also put a new top motor, lift cylinders and tubing in for the top.
I am to the point where i have to decide what to do next--body, interior or suspension.
