Welcome to DZLE's World
UPDATE DEC. 09, 2005. I decided to keep the altima and get another vehicle at a later date. Please vote in the poll for the next ride you think I should get.
UPDATE MAR. 07, 2006.I'm actually engaged now so what ever I get will probably be for my wife. She told me if it's a range rover she would rather drive the altima LOL. But that works for me since I'll be driving the DoubleR.
Here are some clever custom license plates I came up with for my new ride:
S430 MERCEDES - "HAFPAS5"
745 BMW - "QTRTIL8" (Quarter until 8 o'clock)
Range Rover - "DUBLER"
Funny huh...Don't bite it if your in my State.
I'm thinking about getting a leather bra to hide some of the chips and embedded bugs in my bumper and hood. What do ya'll think? Cheesy? Painting won't help as I do a lot of highway driving in 6 months I'll be right back with a chipped bumper/hood and bugs.
July 30, 2003 I've added TV's please check PAGE 4 for pictures.
I purchased my first new car at the end of October 2002.
A Super Black 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5SE.
HERE SHE IS WHEN I FIRST GOT HER!!

AND NOW.

Love that tint

I have the sunroof and spoiler package + auto-dimming mirror w/ compass. I also put in 2-10" MTX subs with a 700 watt amp w/ a remote gain controller. I also have installed 2 TV's. A 5.6" Starvision TFT Monitor on a stand up front and a 7" Starvision TFT Flipdown Monitor for the backseat passengers. For the video source I have a VCR with a built in TV tuner and DVD player in the Glove box. I am thinking about getting an indash tv/dvd player and getting rid of other dvd player. I don't want to lose the ability to have video while my cars in motion though so I want to keep the tv in front of the shifter too.
This is the car club I am in:
Mi Phi Mi

BTW It's an automatic.

Here is another shot right after a bath before any dust can get back on her.
Before tint

Black is really hard to keep clean but when it is it can't be beat. I had a little swirl problem on the paint due to improper waxing techniques (cirles instead of lines) so I got some "3M Swirl Remover/Polisher for dark cars" and it looks OK now. It took about 2 1/2 hrs but it was well worth it to reduce the swirls that could be seen when sunlight was on the car. I still have a little more work to do to fix all the swirls but it doesn't look bad.
