This car is set to track next in September.
Keep an eye out for this car. A new suspension has just been purchased. A full race setup will be installed before this upcoming April 26th MSC event and should be tuned for the May 3rd PCA event. Pictures and spec to come soon
This car is owned by the eldest of the Tan clan. He has been active within the DSM community for numerous years and unfortunately this is his second Eclipse. The first Eclipse, dubbed "Angel", met a very unfortunate fate. It was tuned to be a strip car and man did it haul ass down that quarter mile. After Angel's demise, he replaced this car with a classic DSM muscle car, the Conquest. He intended to have the car set up with a 4G63 coupled to a custom Mighty Max transmission. The engine was in and the car was shot with a custom coat of 350Z Blue that was a few shades darker. In the end though, this car was scrapped and parted out as time constraints took hold of this project car.
He now owns this beautiful 10th Anniversary edition white GSX which has countless goodies. This car was shipped into Texas where it now reside. The car has tons of upgrades and serves double duty as a street/track car. This car now boasts a Thermal R&D Muffler coupled to a 3" mid-pipe and down-pipe. With this exhaust, small O2 housing, and ported exhaust side of the turbo, we are currently experiencing some boost creep.
So the latest addition to this beast has been the cage and seats. Don't worry, he has belts to match. Safety before speed, functionality before form.
