This is my 1978 Camaro Type LT. The color is camel(tan). I had a 1978 RS just like this in high school. I wrecked that one pretty good, so this is my replacement. I have been looking for a car like this for 3 years. I found this one in my home state of missouri as well.  Recently dropped in a a 383 stroker, zz4 cam and vortec heads.......oh yeah, no rust......

Kristofer, Thanks for posting this... my first car at 16 was a 78 Camaro with a 305, same color and interior. The only difference I can see is that mine had the tan vinyl top. Of course, at 16 I thought it was the fastest thing on the road. Reality was, while it would top out decent on the highway, it was a dog. Compounding the problem was the fact that I lived on the beach on the east coast of FL and rust was a real issue. FYI, in case you don't know, I hear that this model year had a very cheap blend of metal that was known to be prone to rusting. At any rate, thanks for the pics.

Nice looking car. Good vehicle for a classic rebuild.
