I was looking under my hood today, considering pulling the air box & dropping in a short air intake. Also ready to install a Bosch Sport turbo bypass valve & T-hose. Then I see your pics. You got the intake filter to fit. Dude, Im impressed. Any details would be welcome. Any noticable difference in under-hood intake sound level when you spool up the turbo? (Also known as 'romping on it in 4th') A bit quicker spool-up with a less-restricted air flow? And most importantly, what about sucking in over-heated engine-bay air issues during hot weather? Enquiring minds want to know. ;) I overhauled my '92 Celica Turbo All-Trac and returned it to TTE/TRD WRC racing specs. (Same Turbo specs that got Toyota busted & banned from Rally racing). Squeezed 353 AWHP @24.5 PSI boost out of it. Dyno'd with chart posted. Have cruising video near top & you can hear the air being vacuumed up @22 PSI. Crank up your audio. That will tell it all.
