Welcome to my Z page.

After 3 years of searching, I finally own a first generation Z! This one has 168,000 miles, and has recently undergone a $12,000 restoration. It has been modified with an L26 block/head with valve oiler, electronic ignition, dual electric cooling fans, triple Weber 40mm carburetors, MSA header and 2.5" exhaust, R200 limited slip differential, and Tokico gas shocks.

However, none of this was satisfactory to me. At some point (about the point when I started watching the Wangan Midnight anime) I decided to rip the whole thing apart and swap in an L28ET from a 280ZX Turbo and mate it to a Z32 300ZX transmission, with all sorts of supporting mods, in order to make 350whp to start, then eventually progressing to over 500hp over the years. So far the project is moving along nicely.

Page two has pictures of the build thus far. On this page I have a few pictures of the car and some updates on parts, etc. I hope you enjoy viewing my page and vote me for ride of the week!

7/15/08: Update! My distributorless ignition setup arrived this week; it uses 6 GM LS1 coil packs mounted to a custom bracket and custom-length Magnecor plug wires. I'm going to be rebuilding the engine shortly, and ordering my Megasquirt II EMS.
