Page 2 - Interior
The interior in 1990 before and then after the new floor pans.

The car sat around so long that the new floor pans began to get rusty!
In 2005 we finally got around to fixing the interior. My wife installed the seat apolstery and the headliner, it turned out pretty good for her first time. We even put the glass back in ourselves without breaking it.

We should have waited till after we painted it however. We had to take the glass back out and loosen the headliner around the windows to paint. We pulled all the interior back out as well. We put the glass back in a second time after painting and we still didn't break it.
Some how over the years I misplaced the original 67 seats so we had these 68 seats from a doner car. It turn out they are more different than I thought but we made it work.

I redid my instrument cluster. My car did not have a factory tach. I bought a 67 Cougar tach on ebay. Modified my original instrument panel to mount it in and I added a 68 Mustang oil pressure gage where the clock was. I changed the faces to white so they would all match and I changed the bulb covers to red/orange. It really looks good I think.
I had to cut the "cup" that held the Cougar tach loose by drilling out the spot welds. Then cut a hole in my panel. You'll notice the depth was different between the two so I had to section the cup and add 1/4" to get the tach at the right depth. Then I welded it all together. I had to drill some holes to get all the bulbs in the right place so the faces lit up evenly. Then wiring the original tach was a bit fun too.

I didn't have a radio and the car is too loud anyway so I made a plate that looks like the original radio "delete" until I get a stereo...

Well I got some new Magnaflow mufflers which should be more quiet compared to the Flowmasters. My wife also bought me a JVC receiver and some speakers for Valentine's day...
