TARA-fied's 1967 Ford Mustang

Hello,
My name is Craig, my wife is Tara, that makes me "TARA" fied!
I have 3 boys. These pages are to document the work My wife, 3 boys and I have been doing on our 67 Mustang hardtop. I've owned it since 1990. My first car was a 67 that I bought when I was 15 and fixed up. I had it about 10 years and traded it for this car (and some money to use as a down payment on my 1st house).
I have a 1970 429 engine with a C6 3 speed automatic transmission and custom aluminum drive shaft. I swapped in a stock big block 460 in 92, it was originally a 289. I later found this 429 and built it up. It took custom made motor mounts from Crites and Tubular Automotive headers but it fits! I've upgraded the brakes with Granada front spindles and disc brakes and the rear axle is a Lincolon Varsailes 9" with disc brakes. This car was pretty rusty as you will see in the pics. We've replaced the rear frame rails, quarter panels, wheel wells, trunk floor, floor boards, and almost everything in front of the fire wall. I'm also going for the Shelby/Eleanor look. It was inspired a little by the Shelby prototype coupes "Little Red" and the "Green Hornet".

I've been working on it off and on for over 18 years now...
