Okay, here's the bad news. This car did have all-original sheetmetal and had never been in a wreck in 33 years, but on April 19, 2006, I was rear-ended by an elderly man in a Buick less than a mile from my uncle's house. Fortunately, everyone walked away unharmed, but the same couldn't be said for the car. Anyway, here's what happened:
This isn't a very good picture, but you can still see the kink in the right rear frame rail.
Luckily, no glass was broken and I didn't even lose a taillight, but the end of my right-side original pipe did get bent. (Trust me, those factory duals sounded great!)
The car was considered totaled for reasons I don't fully understand, but the good news is I kept anyway and it's currently in the body shop getting put back together. I should have it back within a month or two. Anyway, I'll have pics up as soon as I can after I get it back.
