Welcome to the fascinating world of HO scale (1:87) automobile dioramas.

We live in a great time where it?s easy to have a passion for collectible cars because there are so many cars of varying scale, detail, and price. To the true collector it is difficult to display a collection due to the size of the cars themselves. Even in the highly detailed 1:43 scale, a collection of cars is likely displayed in a bland display case where only the cars are showcased. Your car collection is beautiful and most likely very expensive so why show them off in a boring glass case?

One alternative to the size constraints of model car collecting is to collect the smallest of detailed cars, the 1:87 scale, or HO train scale. These are actually smaller than the diecast (1:64) cars you buy at the toy store, but they are far more detailed. Many are made using the actual CAD designs used to make the full size cars. There are hundreds of cars available from the dozens of manufacturers of these little marvels, but the finest of the detailed cars are made by Herpa, Busch and Wiking.

Detailed cars need the proper setting, a detailed diorama. With the Lilliputian size of 1:87 scale you can have a realistic display case to show off your prized collection.

Do you have the time, skill, or patience to make such a display? If not, I make these to the enthusiast?s specifications. Although I will make any scene you desire, I recommend the following themes:

Commercial scenes: Auto dealership, diner, drive-inn
Sections of a racetrack: pits, turns, starting grid
Rally circuit: woods, mountains, tunnels, start/finish podium
Cityscenes: downtown, police stations, fire stations, freeways
Rural scenes: farmhouses, grass fields for Concours events

You have arrived at the only custom 1:87 scale auto diorama builder known to take custom requests and build you a one of a kind setting. I can source the cars too if you don?t have a collection of your own.
