1984 BMW 318i Automatic

Max-Zorin's 1984 BMW 3-Series

It is an E30 model powered by 1.8 L M10B18 I4 SOHC 8 valve engine producing 105 hp with ZF 3 HP-22 three-speed automatic transmission. It came equipped with 3.91 ratio differential.

It is 1984 model, but as per VIN it was made in November of 1983 for the North American market. It is painted BMW-bronzitbeige-metallic - to be repainted different color in the future.

The car is all original and runs great with 220000km on the engine and body. The body and interior needs restoration. The car came with all original manuals and some service records. It appears that I am the third owner.

The car comes equipped with manual sunroof, manual windows, power mirrors, factory tape deck with power antenna (stuck halfway) and A/C (in need of belt and recharging).

Currently the only modification is the replacement of the original Bosch coil with Accel performance coil. I also done the replacement of spark plugs with Bosch Platinium and the distributor cap with Champion cap. Future mods to the car will include performance exhaust and upgraded fuel injectors.

Next stage is to "attack" the body and remove the interior and trunk carpets.
