1966 Ford Mustang Coupe

ZAN66's 1966 Ford Mustang

This is my 1966 Mustang Coupe. I purchased it in July of 2002 from the second owner. It was roughly a week after my high school graduation, so in a way it's my graduation present to myself. As are most cars, it's a work in progress.

*Update* 5-24-03

As soon as it stops raining she'll be on the road (today was the 4th day or so that it rained in a row). Since the last update I've isntalled two highway patrol motorcycle lights within the front fascia. They're controlled via a small underdash switch. My tach is also all wired up, except for the wiring to the distributor. That should be set up soon, and my B&M Megashifter should be in within the next month.

*Update* 4-30-03

Got the car back from the painshop today. Now it's sporting a fiberglass racing apron, 3" fiberglass cowl hood, and dual white stripes. Sometime this upcomg winter it's gonna visit another painter and have dark blue ghost flames painted within the stripes.

Awesome car...that's the nicest color they ever put on the mustang if you ask me, and 66 is THE year to have. Good job.
