the engine- 143k, 5-speed tranny
i just took the top end apart fall/winter of 2002 and put in a toyota metal headgasket, ARP head studs, replaced most gaskets grommets and seals, valve seals (it's VERY common to have bad valve seals, and these are new, so that's one less worry) when the seals were installed the shop inspected the head and said it was in excellent condition, i also installed the supra injectors for the 5sfe turbo project(still gets around 28mpg) also has a newer radiator, radiator hosing(toyota), trd low temp thermostat(70 dollars), trd radiator cap (30 dollars), ngk wires, denso iridium plugs(50 dollars), new cap and rotor (denso) intake manifold cleaned, t.b. cleaned. new bosch fuel filter. right now has trd air filter in the stock airbox. also, has new brake pads and new rotors! got a new clutch at 128k

engine/tranny problems - the car vibrates. i was told the engine mounts needed replaced, and 3 of the 4 were replaced (with used mounts) the 4th one i didn't have, but they said it was still in good condition. however, the car still vibrates. i now have a brand new 4th mount, and plan on buying new mounts for the other 3 as well, and hopefully this should fix the problem. as far as the transmission, the 3rd gear synchro sometimes grinds...but recently has been doing very well. while not perfect, it also has never caused driveability problems (always goes into gear, etc) the current alternator needs a new tensioner bolt as the old bolt broke off inside it and can allow the belt to loosen under high torque.

the body-
the body is in very good shape, not a hint of rust. 5 month old red paint, toyota factory red, plus clearcoat. i switched to the 3 peice rear spoiler instead of the 1 peice that was on it. looks great. alltrac hood also included. the power antennae is stuck down. air conditioning is cold sometimes and not as cold other times. it does need the a/c condenser fan installed, which is included. there are a couple small chips in the paint on the front of the paint, which i have used touch up paint on and you don't notice.

the interior-
almost like new. everything is very clean. has a tape and factory cd player however the cd does not work as i tried to add it and it seems to need a security code or something. there is a smear of gray paint on the drivers seat from last summer when we were painting our house...stupid me went to move the car not realizing i had paint on my shorts...never tried to remove it because i didn't want to use chemicals in the car and make it stink or somethin. but for the most part the interior is very clean, looks great, non smoker...very nice. could use a new shift boot(the one i added was not factory and wouldn't fit the holder...so it doesn't fit properly. also the center console armrest is broken at the hinges, and has cracked vinyl.

the wheels and tires-
the rims that are on the car in the above picture are NOT included, i have put them on my 88 celica alltrac. what it WILL come with is the stock steel rims with hubcaps. they have some goodyear regatta tires on them that aren't great, but not real bad. i'd recommend a new wheel and tire package as the stock hubcaps don't go with the nice paint and sleek looks.

suspension-
the car needs some new struts. this is up to the new owner. many of you would rather drop the car and pick your own parts...so, it's ready for them.

the reason for selling-
1st, i need money. 2nd, i'd like to buy a ae86 corolla as my new daily driver, and need the money for it. also i have a celica alltrac that needs a few repairs.

the price- $2950 OBO
