In prep of higher flow, i went ahead and Sold my Jic Ypipe and RSR GT2 Mag... in leiu of the brand new Greddy Evo TT (Turbo Tuned) exhaust system. it is a dual exhaust system with an Hpipe exhaust pulse equalizer, 70mm piping throughout and huge 115mm tips. Check out the picts on my engine build page 16... and the diffuser project is now.. BACK ON! (teaser pict also on page 16)

Hi Boys & Girls. Sorry it's been a while since my last update. Well i finally got all the pieces i need for my engine build. I am dropping off the Z @ Technosquare to get the stock motor tuned for various boost levels and AFR settings via ECU reflash. Then after Technosquare has all the data they need for 6/7/8/9/10/11 PSI settings on stock block, they're gonna install the new engine. Estimated return of the Z will be around first or second week of August hopefully. Enjoy some picts of my new HKS Head Gasket and the Cusco Clutch on Page 16.

Happy New Years everyone! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays. So.. what's planned this year for the Z?
Here's my Resolutions for my Fairlady:
1. Build the engine so i can boost 1 bar!
2. Get better at drifting to get into the advanced group @ DriftDay.com
3. Paint all my body pieces and get into at least two other magazines
4. Play it safe and promote legal, track only High Performance Driving Events and Racing events!
Well, i hope i can accomplish my 4 resolutions!

On Oct 13th, I went out to Buttonwillow raceway with a bunch of my co-workers. I installed the JIC Ypipe a few days ealier and wanted to try out my new top end power... but unfortunately @ the track, found out my car's oil temp gets really really high. So.. its time for some oil/power steering cooling devices. I picked up a 25row, 13"x8"x2" oil cooler core from SETRAB and will be making my oil cooler. I'll have picts and write up coming shortly for those interested in making the same type of cooling system for your Boosted Z. Picts are up on Page 15.

There was also this big meet at Red Robins next to the SuperAutoBacs in Stanton, CA on the 15th. So i posted some picts up on Page 15. Check out Mark's Z.. my Twin!! :)

I got alot of news! I had the Cusco RS LSD installed last wednesday and set to 60% lock, then after about 20 minutes of figure 8s in a parking lot i was ready for some DRIFT ACTION!
I had registered for Drift Day 27 and went to California Speedway in Fontana for my first time drifting. I swapped in my CF hood and spare CF front bumper and went at it! I got some pictures of me and my friends in the pits and on the track, Go to page 9 for Images!

While waiting for my CF parts. i thought, well, hell, might as well buy a hood for temp usage. I went to APR performance in Walnut and talked to the guys. they had an extra Z hood so i got it. its a Fiberimages OEM-style hood. Go Figure. Page 5 has picts...I might be rockin' some APR stuff soon... :O

oh yea. picked up a lightweight aluminum racing jack.. i'll post picts of it soon. Decently priced for what it is. Quickpump low 3.5" to high of 17.8". I'll still need wood to get the front chassis high enough for the jack. but it weighs only 33 pounds. bling!

Hola. I return from Las Vegas, very tired, but content. It was fun hangin' out with the TechnoSquare guys. I've uploaded only a THIRD of my images. Its a PITA to upload here to cardomain. SEMA images are on page 14.

ECU update: well most of you have successfully guessed that it is indeed true: TechnoSquare has gained control of the larger injectors and can easily adapt the ECU to 440 and larger injectors. Currently they are working on a Greddy TT specific kit to do-away with the eManage unit. More updates soon. as for the 2k4 hardware, it's almost done.. patience!

While my baby is under surgery (base plates welded in, the bars are being bent and welded now) i got some interior pieces.. nothing big. the 2k4 Driver side knee pad for my 2k3..

Dropped off my Z yesterday at TechnoSquare. Getting the 4point Roll bar welded into the car, picts hopefully within the week. I'll finally be able to run the 5point harness (safely) and will be installing my Sparco Evo2s soon.

in other news...Here's an UPDATE for all you 2004 Z/G Owners. The ECU upgrade for 2004 (and 2004.5) is coming.. the prototyping hardware is complete and should be state-side within the month. Tadashi (head tuner at TS) was in Japan for the past 4 months doing R&D work and inconjunction with Techtom Japan, they have finally built a programmer for the 04s. Nissan doubled the memory allocation for the newer cars and are starting to run ULEV code for the A/F ratios. There are more maps to deal with (hence the RAM upgrade) so logically, the car will be harder to tune. The Feedback value Nissan put in is extremely limited. i.e. the gains on the 04 will be harder to produce than the 03s, but Technosquare is confident they can squeeze some more HP out of the stock program. R&D will commence in California in November.

News for the 05 Track/35th Anniversary Z. There is a VQ35DE version B. Hence the 300hp rating given to the new variation. Nissan added a modified exhaust cam to the stock 287hp engine and reprogramed the ECU. That car's ECU will be very interesting to see, and hopefully come Jan 05, we can take a look at it.

When i get more info, i'll post it up... :)

The B&M Short Throw shifter is INSTALLED! OMG!! The throws are so short, about 2inches from gate to gate. it's a little bit harder to shift due to the change in the fulcrum point, but its worth it! THANKS BOB, STEVE, J.D, & Garett @ B&M Racing! (on a side note, i mesed up my stock leather shifter cuz it wouldnt come off so i guess i have to get me a NISMO one now, poo!) Pictures of half of the install are on page 10!!!

Hey Guys- Went to the 'Drifting Pretty' race event at Willow Springs raceway on Saturday the 19th. I took pictures and its up on page 11. It is an all girls drift event, there were some competitive ladies out there! And they put on a good show.. enjoy! :)

Its been a hectic month! i've been stupid busy with work, so no updates. I picked up a CMX-100N2 multi-gauge reader for the OBDII port. i can now read intake temp, ignition timing, water temp, rpm, speed, AF voltage and more- i wanted to see what my intake temp was because of the hot summer days up here- its been over 100+ for the past few days. THe body kit work has been slow. Fiberimages needs to finish up my fenders, hood, and hatch soon. the build up of the motor is slowly coming into picture. We're testing Nismo's 9.5:1 lower comp piston heads and reinforced rods. it will be some fun stuff. Our target boost is 1bar on the new setup-

Some sad news: my tuner, Tadashi, has been having some health issues lately. He's the one that pioneered the ECU development for the new Nissans. My thoughts and prayers are with him. Get well soon my friend!

Hey Guys- While i work on the 60mm pod, check out the installed Heads Up Display from DEFI on page 10! I'm having trouble getting RPM signal off the ecu (thanks nissan CAN system.. arrg) so while i'm waiting for the RPM adapter from Greddy- i'm just using it to monitor Oil temp and fuel pressure.

Street Fury DVD (a film production from Tokyo Pop Productions) did a special feature on the Power Enterprise Twin Turbo setup for my Z yesterday.

PE's general manager, Yoko, was there, and she gave a good overview of the company. She is actually one of the most powerful people in the company, Currently overseeing PE USA while they are in their infancy. She was really nice to me, so that was really cool.

A few important notices about the kit:
the intercooler is made by ARC in Japan. this intercooler piece itself, it worth over $1500 US. All pipes including the exhaust manifold are all hand TIG welded. The kit also includes an oil pan that has baffles/guides to prevent sloshing of the oil during hard turns,

The quality of the parts of this kit is superb. i have never seen a turbo kit out of the box, of such high quality parts. the only thing cast molded was the oil pan!!!

I hope everyone had a safe and joyous holiday season. It's 2004 and time for major mods. The turbos from Japan are on the way. Some stupid drama between me and Power Enterprise, but now its over... and i'll be boosted again shortly.

I'm looking at LSDs and Clutches and i've decided to get the OS Giken Fly/Clutch and their 2-way adjustable LSD... time will tell on if its a good choice..

Fiberimages's CF molds of the body kit is complete. they're making my full body kit now in CF. its just taking forever. i finally got to see the actual molds they're using so that was assuring. progress is slow. but it's coming along..

i added a few more pictures to page 10. :) please feel free to check out my new toy: Sparco Evo2 race seat and Schroth harnesses.

I'm also doing some house cleaning and re-arranging some files.. so just keep surfing on the pages and i'll post what i changed here on the Frontpage :)

The ECU program is pretty much finished for Performance/Touring/Enthusiast/Track manual transmission 350Zs. We are still working on G35 Coupe Auto/Stick, 350z Base and Touring Automatics.. results soon.

I got to take a look at my new...TURBOS!!!! I'm doing the build up now for the Power Enterprise US-Spec Twin Turbo Kit... i will now post updates on that.. on page 13 whenever i get information :)

I'm looking for 10 persons who are interested in getting a full carbon fiber front diffuser, similar to the Top Secret Front Diffuser...

I am getting these made and they will be ready in a few weeks.

This is a FULLY FUNCTIONAL, FULL CARBON FIBER diffuser/front lip, with a gel coat, but can be readily painted for those who do not like the CF look.. For a little extra money, you can also get this in CARBON KELVAR, benefits include the option of color kevlar.. (such as Navy Blue & Black, Lite Blue & Black, Yellow & Black, Red & Black, Orange & Black)..as well as the added strength.....

I understand the recent issues with Replicas, but i assure you, i will be supervising the build up and they will have to meet my standards before i ship them.

I'm aiming for a price of around $550, shipping not included. Compared to the real diffuser at $700+, i believe this is a fair price for full carbon fiber..... The pieces are being made in the USA from the very reputable FiberImages. You may have seen some of their kits in MaxPower UK, Import Tuner, Sport Compact Car, and other media....

My Ecu tuner has some good news! On a very conservative fuel/air mapping and slight ignition timing changes.. we got approximately 7-8hp. They also made a set of pre-cat straight pipe replacements and the outlook seems good so far, no CEL... more tuning is being done.. check out the images on PAGE 10 :) and an ECU write up on what i've done on page 12

Hey Hey Hey! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I've had the Z for about two monthes now (after waiting around 9 monthes from pre-order) and its great! It totally worth every minute (and every penny)!Currently i am working with Zdriver.com and doing some prototyping for the Z as i did for the Maxima community.
