News from PE is that they have to fulfill the JDM market first before they send a kit over to the US. #%@# they said 10 kits to Japan, 1 kit to the US, so i'm on a wait list until late feb or early march.
But what can i do, right? oh well. temporarily taking it up the ass...

Ok.. well apparently, the first 5 allotments for the PE TT kits in the USA have already been sold. so i'm not getting mine for a while. #%@#%@#

The kit is offically: MINE! Thanks to negotiations with PE USA and Technosquare.. i will be getting my kit installed before thanksgiving. YAY

Kit is back in the USA. production is completed. Production piping is slightly different than the prototype... it is coming with a stock 4psi, as a warning: do NOT run the boost controller past 7psi w/o any adequate tuning.. the stock ECU has too much timing on the top end..
i'm awaiting confirmation concerning my turbo kit, there is some drama going on, but i wont go into that... but hopefully i will be getting my kit within the month of november...

Engine tuning is ongoing on this week. New fuel management has been installed and very cool! Much better than stock (includes new ECU reprogram for boost along with new fuel system components) Preliminary results came up VERY exciting. We got 4xx.xx hp @ the crank for this 'stage 1' upgade.
For cars that are 'stock' ecu, the car is running VERY rich and the boost had to be lowered. I highly recommend the ECU tune if you end up going with this kit. Not quite sure yet if the ECU tune will be included with the 'stage 1' upgrade.
My Tuners that have been driving it feel that the car is exceptionally 'lighter-feeling' to it, which means the car is making some good power to the ground and feels fast. More tuning will follow :)

Man, those IHI turbos are freakin tight! They are a pair of IHI ball-bearing turbos.
both turbos are roughly the size of a large grapefruit, or if you will, one of the new smaller stuffed Nemo plush toys.. (dont ask, it just came to my head..)
The left side of the exhaust manifold is the key issue here...originally the kit was supposed to be made by RB Motoring in City of Industry, CA, but they relinquished the kit to Technosquare...TSI has a master parts welder/builder...that could solve the issue with fitment.
The intercooler is fairly large, and VERY NICE!!!!
its approximately 30" x 18" x 3".. i didnt have a tape measure but this is from my estimates from holding it..
we're trying to get the kit to use the stock fuel rails for the first stage of the build up and for production..
then after that, i'm going to try to reinforce the rods, new pistons, and try to lower the compression so i dont blow the engine when we up the boost with new injectors...
